So I spend the night working on these sketches for each point that we had chosen earlier today/yesterday during our Responsive session, this is to show that we have considered other ways of approaching these points visually, how we can go about executing with the ideas that we have agreed upon (Such as what materials we could use and what art and colour styles to go with), and roughly how they can be placed on the presentation slides later on for our submission.
As simple as this execution appears to be, there are actually some very delicate details taken into consideration, such as the locations of these endangered animals, and while part of the world is apparently emitting the most carbon at this present time. Even the way some things are drawn are given those extra details, such as the expressions of the animals, and how aggressive and gnarly looks the hand-shaped carbon gas looks as it begins covering the planet (... You will see what I mean once you look through these sketches).
There were also a lot of neat ideas to use items such as beads to create a 'pixelated' effect for some things like the humans and even green screening some scenes, though with the amount of time given, there is no possible way that we could get those done. (I mean, can you imagine how long it would take to make a beaded cartoon character?)
We will now start making some of the items (In my case, mostly paper cut out stuff) before we meet up again next week to put it altogether!
