Responsive Session 10

Today was another productive session with Anna, we finally figured out what points we wanted to focus on based on her notes (Of course done in chronological order), so we can now actually get to work and start crafting! 

These points we wish to illustrate and/or animate are:

1. Declining animal population
2. Eating into natural capital?
3. Overshoot
   - Cut trees faster than they mature
4. - Harvest fish faster than oceans can replenish
5. - More carbon emissions than forests and oceans can absorb
6. Human well being depends on natural resources - water, arable land, fish, wood and pollination (Bees)
7. Live and proper in harmony with nature

While we already have some ideas on how we wish to visualise each point, I will still be sketching some extra concepts to see if I could think of anything else better or to improve on the present concepts, or just to show that we have considered other approaches and ideas.

The only slight misunderstanding we had with one another was how each scene was to be presented on each board. This whole time I was actually thinking that some scenes would be shown as storyboards, that was until Anna explained to me that her idea was to show it as a progressive chart of sorts instead of a storyboard for certain scenes (Eg, there will be one concept where the earth is shown deteriorating, the stages will all be shown within the same image, much like "Food Rules", you can actually picture the camera slowly panning from left to right to show each stage, while everything apparently still stays on the same surface instead of in completely different frames).

3. Make Pieces
4. Put Them Together!
