Introduction to Responsive

This will probably be the first course that enables us to collaborate with other students from other courses as we work on a variety of external projects throughout the rest of the year. As part of this module, we will explore approaches to the informed and strategic selection of briefs, brief analysis and the clarifying of problems in response to a client centred brief, brief management, project review and documentation, presentation and roles and responsibilities in relation to individual and collaborative practice.

We are pretty much given the opportunity to do whatever we want, with our lectures as advisors should we feel stuck, this also gives us the chance to improve on our peer evaluation skills.

This module will comprise of a three part brief:

1. Individual Practice - Select and resolve a range of live and/or competition briefs appropriate to my area of practice. This is an opportunity to investigate content, processes, products and techniques that can help me better understand and define my own creative ambitions.

2. Collaborative Practice - Work together with others on an available national competition briefs or recognised life brief.

3. Project Report - Produce a report presenting the work produced in 1 and 2 in a professional manner. The report should aim to introduce, summarise and evaluate one's working practices and experiences throughout the module.
